UNDERGROUND VAULTS
Virtually any type of utility vault, holding tank, or other underground structure can be compromised by cracks, leaks, settlements, or changing water-level conditions. That's when it is time to contact CST's water-control experts. CST is the recognized contractor in the region who has broad experience with both polymeric sealing agents and expanding structural polymer. This increases the variety of solutions to effect a proper long-term repair.
MANHOLES
Major manhole-related problems for municipal or utility units are exfiltration, infiltration, and structural integrity. CST has the capacity and experience to address all of these and more. Often the savings created by restoring proper functions to manholes can offset repair costs many times over. For example, in the recent Rafter J Project in northwest Wyoming, the water treatment cost reductions paid for the repairs in only a few months.
STORM SEWERS
Both UDI and polymer technologies are deployed to solve the problems associated with storm runoff and flooding. Instead of restoring to high costs of excavation and replacement, CST can deploy its technologies in such a way as to effect an insitu repair. These are often faster and less intrusive / inconvenient in public traffic situations.
BOX CULVERTS
Some of the most challenging problems with box culverts occurs when erosion above and below the structure either threatens structural damage, or causes the culvert to malfunction. Further, these structures are often close to or connected with highways and streets. CST's long-standing experience in fixing these problems using its highly-experienced technicians makes us the preferred choice in these situations.
DAMS AND RESERVOIRS
Large water-holding structures like dams and reservoirs are also subject to deterioration and failure if they are not maintained. CST draws from a national pool of experts who have successfully solved water-control challenges with these mega-structures.
